JULA METTE
Julia, the founder of Jula Mette, places great value on individuality. As a designer with a background in textile design, she is fascinated by patterns and clear shapes. These details, often inspired by nature or the geometry of life, flow into each piece of jewelry.
Let yourself be inspired by Julia's passion for jewelry and design.
PHILOSOPHY
We stand for precision and quality, entirely Swissmade.
Our mission is to create jewelry pieces that last a lifetime and carry emotions forward. We believe that every piece of jewelry tells a story and becomes part of a personal journey.
Our creations are designed by Julia, then cast in french-speaking part of Switzerland and carefully handcrafted by our goldsmith in Lucerne. For our creations, we exclusively use recycled gold sourced from Switzerland.
The stones are also set into our jewelry by specialized setters in the french-speaking part of Switzerland and in Lucerne.
We do not manufacture the hoops and chains ourselves; we source these from our Swiss dealers in Lucerne and Zurich.

NATURAL GEMSTONES
All our gemstones are sourced from certified dealers who have signed the Kimberly Process. This means they are committed to fair trade and refrain from purchasing conflict diamonds.
The gemstones we use in our jewelry come from various mines around the world. Some stones can be traced back to the mine, providing full transparency in the supply chain. Especially for larger stones, we ensure they come with a certificate of authenticity.
We value not only the beauty of our stones, but also the knowledge that they have been sourced with respect and responsibility.
LAB-GROWN GEMSTONES
In addition to natural gemstones, we also offer lab-grown diamonds, which are cultivated in modern laboratories under controlled conditions. These stones have the same chemical composition, appearance, and durability as natural diamonds.
By being produced in a lab, natural resources are preserved and mining is avoided. Lab-grown stones are guaranteed to be conflict-free. Thanks to the precise laboratory conditions the stones can be grown with higher purity and a specific color selections.
Lab-grown stones are typically 20-40% less expensive than natural gemstones. The future value of lab-grown diamonds cannot be clearly predicted today, as their production is not limited like that of natural diamonds.
